The avocados are peeled, pitted and cut into bite-sized pieces. The cherry tomatoes are quartered or halved. The red onion is peeled and cut into half rings. Of course you can also use a white onion. The baby lettuce or lettuce hearts are divided into bite-sized pieces. Two to four whole leaves can also be used for the garnish.
For the honey dressing, the olive oil or rapeseed oil, lemon juice, honey and mustard are mixed together. To make it easier to stir in the honey, you can also warm the dressing slightly. But please do not exceed 40 °C, otherwise the honey will lose its valuable ingredients.
The honey dressing is now seasoned with a little salad seasoning, aromatic and a pinch of salt and salted to taste.
